On our home page there is a small magazine cover from Swimming World Magazine.  For every magazine that is ordered through our web site our team will receive a percentage of the sale.  So, for everyone who needs some ideas for holiday gifts look no further than your own swim team web site.  For all my swimmers that are old enough to read (and I'm thinking that even for my younger swimmers this would make some exciting bed time reading with mom and dad) this would be an awesome gift.  They will receive 12 issues and for a limited time exclusive premium membership to Swimmingworldmagazine.com.  What a deal!  Please click on the magazine cover on the home page to read all the details.  If you have any questions please contact me.

Just a little science note to all my parents and swimmers interested in "Laws"

These are 2 of the "Laws of Competitive Swimming"

1.  "Law of Competitive Gravity"

When left unattended, a swimmer will gravitate to the worst technique possible.

2.  "Law of Inertia"

A swimmer at rest will tend to remain at rest unless acted upon by an outside force.  A swimmer in motion

will tend to rest as soon as possible unless acted upon by an outside force.

That's why we need coaches............

Dauphin Swim Team belongs to the Mid-Penn Swim League.  It is this organization that makes all the rules and regulations for our organization.  They have a web site where you can read the rules and regulations and the MPSL Code of Conduct, get information on invitational meets, see the Top 16 swimmers list from our area, and get the results from our meets along with the results from any team in our league.  It's a way to keep current on what's going on in our local swimming world.  For all who are interested the web site is:
